Dr. Venkatapathy built the East Point Indian International School (EPIIS) in 1997 in Ajman. It is located in Ajman's suburbs in Al Hamidiyah. This is a massive project of East Point Group of Institutes (EPGI), and it has a branch of East Point Academy in India. EPGI is a combination of management that looks after top-class schools.

One of the affiliations of EPIIS is CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). Indian Curriculum is being followed at EPIIS from Kindergarten until Grade 12. Currently. Academic Calendar at School

The academic year of EPIIS starts in April and ends in March. The whole academic year has 3 terms. Following are the details:

  • The starting time for the 1st term is the 2nd week of April, which continues until the 1st week of July.
  • After the 1st term, there is a summer vacation of almost 2 months.
  • The 2nd term starts in the 4th week of August and ends in the 2nd week of December.
  • Students get 3 weeks of holidays in the 2nd week of December for winter break.
  • The last and 3rd term begins in the 1st week of January and ends in March.
  • After the final term, students enjoy 2 weeks of spring break.

08:00 am to 11:30 am for kindergarten students.

08:00 am to 01:40 pm for the students from Grade 1 to Grade 12.

07:30 am to 04:00 pm are the office timings for staff and administration.


COVID-19 Regulations

As per the UAE government's order about opening schools for the academic year 2021-22 from August, the safety guidelines will be followed. The safety and health betterment of students and staff members will be maintained by following the SOPs provided by the Ministry of Education. The details are as follows.

  • Both students and staff must rejoin school after getting tested negatively for Covid-19.
  • Getting checked for body temperature in the morning before entering school is mandatory.
  • The capacity of each classroom to accommodate students will be reduced. The distance of 1 meter will be maintained by marking the position of desks 1 meter apart from each other.
  • Students will also be allowed to use their lockers as long as they maintain the distance.
  • Some school sections like dressing rooms, indoor-playing areas, and reading corners with soft furniture will be closed temporarily, and open places that are easy to clean will be encouraged.
  • For those students who are less than 6 years of age, face masks will not be mandatory.
  • All the staff members and students above Grade one will be obligated to bring at least 2 masks daily.
  • Buses will be going on at total capacity after implementing safety measures.
  • In the canteen area, seating arrangement will be marked with a distance of 2 meters, and only a few students will be allowed at a time.
  • Students can bring lunch from home as there will be no live cooking at the canteen. Pre-packed and selected lunch services will be available at school.
  • After a few protocols, school events, extracurricular activities, after-school clubs, and activities will be allowed.
  • Recreational tours and educational tours will be resumed with SOPs.
  • Access to swimming pools will be allowed.

Admission and Fees

How to Apply?

Students from all nationalities are welcome at the East Point Indian International School Al Hamidiya for admission. But due to the limited number of seats, parents are requested to register their children online at their earliest.

Following your child's registration, please submit the following mandatory documents to the school.

  • For admission in any grade, bring a copy of the previous Grade's result card or Certificate. The only exception is students who opt for access in KG. and Grade 1.
  • Suppose the admission is in the middle of the academic year—transfer documents. You must bring original documents, not a copy.
  • The Birth Certificate of the student
  • Vaccination or Immunization Certificate of student
  • A copy of a valid passport.
  • A copy of the applicant's valid residence visa
  • A copy of the Emirates ID of the applicant
  • Valid passport copies of the guardian/parent/sponsor.
  • Five photographs of the student should be recent.

If a student is transferring from India, he will need.

  • A certificate of transfer that should be verified by the office of education of that area or district. It should be the same area from which the TC you got.
  • Getting the signature of the Education Officer verified from the Indian Consulate in Dubai and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sharjah, UAE is mandatory.
  • Transfer Certificates should also be attested by the Ministry of Education of the country if the student is transferring from Gulf countries except for the UAE and Oman.

After completing the procedure mentioned above, the student must appear in the entrance test of EPIIS. The student will get admission after clearing the exam. The student must fulfill the age requirement of the school, which is as follows.

  • 100 AED for an application form
  • 100 AED is the application fee.
  • For KG 1 – Grade 4, there will be an initial payment of 540 AED with a 50% concession for AY 21/22.
  • The initial payment for Grade 5 – Grade 12 will be 590 AED and a 50% concession for AY 21/22.
  • There will be a precautionary deposit for new admissions of any grade of 500 AED with a 50% concession for AY 21/22. It is a refundable deposit.

There is a canteen on campus for the students of EPIIS. Hygienic meals are available during recess. A protocol of cleanliness is followed by following the hygiene guidelines. Parents are also allowed to send their kids a homemade lunch if they are concerned about Kid's health.

Students are provided with the facility of Transportation, but it is optional. EPIIS takes full responsibility for your Kid by picking and dropping them off with complete security at the location provided by the parents/guardians.
